James M. Kessler is the Founder and President of Stonehenge Property Group. He has over 35 years experience in all facets of real estate planning, acquisitions, entitlements, development, leasing, financing and operations. He has been directly involved (either as an officer or principal) in over 120 projects throughout the western United States encompassing in excess of 25,000,000 square feet. In addition, Mr. Kessler and Stonehenge Property Group has provided third party development services to a variety of clients for over 3,000,000 square feet of projects and in excess of 3,000 acres of land planning. These projects range from neighborhood/community centers, power centers and lifestyle centers to mixed-use developments, office buildings and major redevelopment projects.

Mr. Kessler’s past associations include, Federal Realty Investment Trust, ScanlanKemperBard Companies, The Martin Group/Burnham Pacific and Transpacific Development Company. Mr. Kessler is a past Board director of Owens Realty Mortgage (a publicly traded REIT) and also a guest instructor at the Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics, Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Center (ICSC) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
